Halogen H7 projector retro in the making

Just figured I'd post these here since I'm doing this retro for a person on srtforums.

He plans on adding HID later on but for now just wanted a projector retro where he could use halogen silverstars for now and then upgrade later on when ever he feels like purchasing the rest of the equipment.

Disregard the light shadows above the cutoff. I don;t have the enclosure built yet so there's nothing blocking the stray light leaking from the sides of the projector.

The clip I have is going to have to go back to the original owner of the wrecked car it came from. Long story short, I got a clip from a guy that owed a guy money for the wre4cked car he bought and I had no idea LOL

So off to find another clip....

The thing you guys should like is that not only can this retro do halogen for those that are budget minded but it can also do HID and perform CORRECTLY. So you get a real versatile headlight.

not that i have 03+ style headlights, but how much would that run someone for the versatile, a.k.a. budget minded people? heck, i might switch to the srt front end just so i can get some cool headlights, haha, but thats not very budget minded so scratch that idea...

it looks like demon eyes on the garage door. LOL, Hey hack How much does this setup run so we could do the upgrade later on? I have thought about asking you for this but I figured you had no interest in this type of project at all. I could have already ordered it from you. I was gonna do my own but each time I get the supplies to do it with it falls through so now I won't say a thing until it is in my hands!

I think his Xenon setup runs about $800+ shipped
And the Bi-Xenon is like $995 shipped

Great deals considering the equipment, labor, and the performance ABSOLUTELY cannot be matched!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I looked and looked and looked for this guy's website when I bought my HID's. Rumor has it that if you send him your core lights they are only like 500 a set. Dunno how true that is.... but I couldn't even find his site. Sucks cause I ended up spending a good portion of what I could have put towards em.

Yeah... when I looked for him the first time he was offereing the painted LED tails and the headlights. So I contacted him about them. He had a website also then... it was available through his signature. When I got up the $$$ to get the HID's I trired finding him again. He hadn't been online in quite some time at that point and his website was no longer linked to his signature. I ddin't feel comfortable with it at the time so I just bought the HID kit.

Good god I've spent way too much money on this car lately.....

He was selling his stuf through a vendor on the site, but then he decided to do it on his own, just send him a PM, he is a fucking awesome guy, and I would trust him with my wife.

bwhahahaha thx!

I have ceased doing this until I finish up my guys over on srtforums then I'm planning on taking a break over summer/fall. I'll pick up then. By that time I should have a clip available so you all can quit bustin' my balls about the 2002 and below style haha
