i got a big ol can of bondo glass/fabric/hardner to shave my antenea hole and to start on my interior and was wondering my rear bumper ripped about 2"-2 1/4" would it be ok to use bondo glass to make it good to go after using a blowdryer to straightin it out

was it a fiberglass one? plastic? poly...?
if fiberglass... yes, you can use bondo. on plastic, maybe... but i wouldn't recomend it. poly, i doubt it.

its poly just wondering becuase id rather fix and repaint then buy one for 150+ then get it painted you know?

if its poly, then i would sugest using fiberglass to repair it.... your gonna have to reinforce the poly so it dosen't move and causes the f/g or bondo to split. maybe fab up a bracket that will go in the backside.... you know what i'm saying?

in that case..... maybe some type of epoxy might work better and also hold better.

Yeah thats what i did to my front bumper. The crack has grown 4 times the size. I could have drilled it to stop it from growing but it gives me an excuse to do my body kit this summer.
