Or you could just get the blue Rockblocker film and cover your factory fogs with them... If you have factory fogs.

that seems like the easiest and cheapest way to go so far...are there any bulbs that would give me better output than the stock ones?

lamin-x seems a little chaper than rockblocker, but rockblockers uses 3M. I'm unsure what lamin-X uses??

I ran rockblocker shade film on my headlights for a while. Good solid stuff. It was too dark though and I had to take it off for lack of light output. But that was shaded film and not colored. I've got yellow for my fogs but I've yet to install it. It is a very thick piece of laminate. I can't stress how important it is to clean the area you are installing this stuff on if you want it to last. I had a small piece of lint on my headlight and it caused a bubble. I had the tint on there for about a month. by the time I took it off it had a huge bubble in it caused by air and water getting up under it to the lint.

Anyway.... long story short. Get the film, put it on and save yourself some money. I don't know of anyone making a good HID kit for the fogs yet either. I'd love to get one to match my headlights, but I can't justify spending $350 on just fogs..... at least not yet :D

You shoulda' popped the bubble with the point of a razor blade and squeezed the air bubble out.

I used a needle to pop the bubble. It came up real fast one cold night.... think some water froze under there. It was already too late. The adhesive had gone sour :(

I got my blue glass foglights from Pepboys. I think it was like 25-30 bucks. It's really good. I've always liked it.

The glass is blue (what you see) but the light output is white. And, the light light output is pretty damn good too.

I have no complaints about it--and no, no run ins with the law.

It's not a bad investment.

i got those rock blockers today...they look good and they weren't too bad to put on. I also picked up some 9145 silverstar's to replace the regular ones that were in there. hopefully I can put those on tonight when I get home again and maybe get a few pictures.

I had blue bulbs in my fog lights for a while. I had no problem becuase you could only tell that they were blue if you stepped up to the car, and took a good look into the fog light. They lit up clear, so you can't really tell.

When I had to get a front license plate fix it cleared, the cop saw them, and told me that they needed to be removed. It really depends on the cop, as well as how much the blue stands out. I shouldn't really be bothered by it too much.

Just think about it, if a cop wanted to pull over every car with blue bulbs, then that would be pretty time consuming. You should be good to go with blue bulbs though. Just make sure they light up clear.
