Post by Wenuden » Wed Oct 17, 2007 4:47 pm

as the title states, i've been having super slow load times lately. a lot of time out's too. it's just this site for me, everywhere else loads quick like it should.

I've had the same problem the last week or so.
it takes a really long time to get in and out of the individual topics
theres been a couple times where I was unable to get onto the site at all. had to wait and come back

Anyone else seeing this? I get on from work a lot and it's always slow there since it tries to go through my VPN and realizes it can't before it tries the outside connection.

My computer is just slow in general. Doesn't matter what I am trying to do. Thus the reason I want to build a new one.

But I do believe that it might be a hair slower than normal lately, but since my computer is slow it may not be as noticable to me.

:withstupid: I usually leave the forum open when i'm at work and the internet is slow in general there since there are about 200 people using the internet all day and i never thought anything of it. But sometimes the site would timeout and when i would get it back i would have to log in again. It's even the same thing when i'm on my home computer w/ my cable internet.

Very rarely do I have to log back in from my home computer. I click the remember password box and forget it.

If you're having to re-login, delete your cookies and try again. It kind of sounds like your session is expiring. Another thing that can happen is if your router resets or you gain a new IP address it'll kick you out.
