Moved notification

Post by Kelevra » Wed Mar 26, 2008 2:46 pm

When I post a thread and it gets moved I am not notified at all, I either have to search or dig for it myself. It's slightly annoying. I notice others get notified that it's been moved in the forum it's been moved out of. but I dont.

What threads are you speaking of? There really isn't any notification other than a Shadow Topic saying "Moved:" but thats it... we have the option to leave the shadow topic or not. Usually we do as long as it's a recent thread however if it's an older thread we wont. The Shadow Topics also disappear with time sometimes so the forum may have removed the Shadow Topic by itself.

in general, the most recent ones were the one about the MFS connector, and the radiator malfunction. I've found them. but it's the principle of the matter. send PMs telling them the thread has been moved and where it has been moved. or let the notification stay up longer

I am the one who moved it if it was in the general section. I havn't been leaving the shadow because I felt it cluttered up the section. I move a lot of topics to specific areas because people seem to just throw them in the General Section, even when they know it should go elsewhere.

I'm with 03neonSE, click on the view your posts and you will see all the threads that you ever posted in.
