Donations are always accepted.

I don't think that the problem is the host. I've only had it blip a few times.

In my personal opinion no amount of donations will increase the hosting capabilities. The host is already quite expensive in my opinion. The current host for one month costs the same as the old crappy host did for one year.

The current host was recommended to me by a significantly larger site who was very happy with the service and comparative price.

I'll check into it and see what I can come up with on what the cause of it may be.

For me it seems random. There are times it takes literally minutes to do anything. Doesn't matter if refreshed, or X'ing out, and reloaded. Then 10 minutes later it is fine. It is only this site, as I can go anywhere else, and those sites come right up.

Extra donations for two bathtubs please!

Well maybe it's time to update again? Apparently 2gn hasn't been updated since December 19, 2009 :S

Turns out the server may be getting bogged down a little bit. The host is reviewing everything and Jason will determine if it's needed to upgrade the server capacity (not the bandwidth, the actual server allocation).

The host is a good host. The host is nearly flawless on another, much larger, site so I'm sure it isn't a problem with the actual company just the allocations.

Not to take anything away from the people in this thread, however it always seems that people say they will do this and that and it never comes to fruition.

Lanyard sales, sticker sales, calendar sales, a portion of JM bushings (if the buyer chooses) and raw donations help fund the site. I have also personally sent money to Jason to help accomodate the increase in hosting fees, but in the grand scheme of things it's not a lot and I haven't sent much lately due to getting ready for my babies to be born. Everything else comes directly out of Jason's pocket. Like I said before, one month on the current plan costs as much as a year on the old plan used to, so as you can imagine it adds up quickly.
