Hey guys,
Brand new on here and to the neon world. Just got an 02 with 21,000 on it for 4,500. It silver with what, seems like a charcoal interior, 5 speed. Not gonna lie, I'm really psyched about it! Obviously before I even knew for sure that I was getting it I was already researching parts and stuff. Again, new guy, so hear me out here... I'm not really to sure what model it is. I know that its not the srt/sxt/rt... so what is left? Im going to try to get pictures up as soon as I can because I am very proud of her, but honestly cant wait to start modding her either. Thanks for help the Ive already gotten from some of you guys, and I look forward to meeting the rest of ya!

very welcoming group of people.... not like alot of other boards ive been on, thats for sure. you guys have already been so helpful with parts and such im looking forward to breaking in this car and talkin with you guys some more. im sure im gonna need lots of help cause like all of you, ive got BIG plans for this car.

Welcome to the site. I remember reading through a post in a different section where you put in your vin # and info about your car would come up. It showed your model, some of the options, and what # it was off the assembly line. I will try and look for it. I think it was in general discussion or off topic.

just wanted to stop back in and say thank you for all the hellos and stuff. sorry for the longgg layoff, but ive been trying to problem solve some issues with the car.... lol, yes, already. still trying to work on some decent pics, up as soon as possible... if you guys are mechanically inclined, check out the engine section and look under the title 'multiple problems'... yeah thats me, and any help, ideas or suggestions are more than welcome. thanks again guys and talk to ya soon
