New to Neons not to cars

Post by PhdHater » Mon Apr 28, 2008 3:57 pm

Hello All. My wife has a 2003 Neon SXT and wanted to get a new car. We came to the agreement that if I can make her car a little more fun we will hold off on the new car purchase. So needless to say here I am looking for mods. I aready purchased a set of SRT springs and SRT front/rear sway bars, so I'm here searching to find out what else I need. I have a 1997 Saturn SC2 that is far from stock and I do all my own work so I am not new to modding cars. I hope I can learn alot about neons here as well as contribute where I can. So once again, Hello everyone!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I honestly can't wait to start modding my wife's car. It is pretty fun to drive, it doesn't handle as well as my SC2 (yet) but it has like 3x's as much torque. It also has way better gearing, but not as much top end (I have aftermarket cams in mine though) but either way I can't do this in 4th gear without redlining in my car lol and her's still had tons of 4th left to go......

and just cause I love my car a few more pics of it.....

Is there already holes in the back to bolt the rear sway bar brackets in on the bottom of an SXT?

Ha, I just sent you a pm asking if your WNY was for Western New York. I guess it is. Is there anyone else around us?
