Finally was able to see the confirmation code, color deficiancies suck....

Whelp, tomorrow morning my friend and a member on the board, joelrgr, and I are going to pick up my Neon. It is a Black 2004 SRT-4. I thought I would jump on here and introduce myself and throw on some pictures once I actually own the vehicle.

I plan to do some minor modifications, nothing severe just a few ricer touches such as maybe rims, exhaust, intake, bov, and some carbon fiber. I plan to almost immediately add some nice amenities to the vehicle in the form of a short throw shifter/booger bushings and perhaps a newer modern steering wheel. Additionally, I will very quickly be adding PIAA foglights and projector headlights to the equation with LED black housing tails. This is mostly just to update some basic functions of the car, such as seeing deer a mile away. I may add some mopar springs to lower it a bit and add a bit of sport suspension without bleeding my kidneys from coils :).

Besides cars, I like some of the finer things in life such as art, photography, classic authors, philosophy, music, and beer. Yes, beer is one of the finer things in life

I currently attend college at the University of Phoenix as a full time student. I have been for the past year or so and should graduate with an associates this year. I am currently majoring in Information Technology and networking but will change once I obtain my associates to Environmental Science.

The daily grind consists of being a team leader for a local banks item processing department. Finance and numbers are not exactly my thing but as stated the job is simply a daily grind. Something to put food on the plate and parts on the car.

I am not new to the car modification gig. My first car was a 99 dodge avenger ES. Full body kit and dozens of no-go-fast junk. It was my baby until I started fearing the all great and amazing fail that the A604 tranny was known for. Here is a picture of her completed.

My second and last car was a 1998 Nissan 240SX SE. This was my go fast momma. Everything performance and nothing else. This winter I threw on a turbo kit and I ran into problem after problem and eventually got sick of messing around. She had thousands and thousands worth into performance and finally a seized turbo made me sell it. Here is a snapshot of her days before she transfered owners.

Now I am purchasing an SRT4. Fast from the factory and pretty sexy if you ask me. However, none of my friends, with the exception of joelrgr, can see it for what it is. They just laugh and say its a neon...

It is nice to meet you all and I will post pictures as soon as I can get the time to snap a few.

Hey welcome man!

By Mid-Michigan, do you mean the tri-city area? I'm in the Grand Rapids and flint area a lot, and occasionally in Bay City.

People here tend to throw flaming balls of poop at you when you refer to modding as ricing, so watch out!!!@ j/k.

lol joelrgr

Damn dealer told me car would be on the lot Monday, started driving there got halfway there and he called saying it wont be on the lot till tomorrow! Argh! More waiting:(

I live approximately 20 minutes from grand rapids, not very far at all. Also, I like refering to modding a s ricing lol. I always laugh when I bought parts for my 240 calling it a rice burner etc even when it was a T3/T4 turbo hahah. It is just how i roll i suppose!

Mhmm that Kouki makes me drool. You on Xceedspeed.com? They got a bunch of great 240's on there and Project A'Spec pretty much runs MI's drift scene. I was supposed to buy a 96 240sx but had to back out and stick it out with this car.

Welcome and enjoy. Should have bought another Kouki though, they are rarer and rarer (and better than an SRT4 lol).

Yep I am on xceedspeed. My name on there is "insanitykouki." I sold it to a guy from xceed actually.

I had a kouki lol I want something to drive all year round. They are argueably better than an SRT4 lol. Interior isnt anything grand, stock for stock its slower, and its RWD which means no winters. Rarity only got me tons of attention everywhere i went... not too keen on that.
