Hey guys, I am most likely the youngest one here im only 17 but I am intrested in auto mechanics, my dad is a mechanic so he is helping me. I live in the North East. I drive an '03 SXT Neon Dark Gray color. It's all stock, few dents (Nothing serious) and scratches (Previous owner went over it with spray looks ugly in the day because it's black in the night you don't see it) Im looking to get it to look like an SRT I don't know how to drive a manual thats the problem other wise I would of got a SRT. Some stuff I won't quite understand if you can can you guys just help me out a bit with my car? I do know it needs a Timing Belt but im not sure if it has Dust Covers. Anyways i love neons always did always will.

My car ain't nothing to special it's all stock but that's going to change real soon














In that last photo there is a hole near the fog light trying to get a nice body kit for it though. But yeah like i mentioned before hope to have this baby customized

welcome I think i got my first neon around the same age as you but I didnt get into them till i got my srt-4 in 05 then it got totalled then i got my 03 se in 06 and i havent stopped working on it since. i really got alot of help on this forum and im sure it will help u too. there are alot of how to's and plenty of pics everywhere so u should have no problems getting stuff done.

Oh since i was in 5th Grade i absoutly loved them! my friends neighbor had one it was a '95 and i just was like...wow i want one.

welcome bro!! well you can start by buying front and rear bumpers, side skirts, hood, wing, wheels for a srt!! i would by some wheels first if money is tight,

Right on man, I got my 03 neon when I was about 17 too. Look at it 3 years later! =P
