Hello Im Silver-RT From Winnipeg

Hey guys and girls. Im new to this site so i thought i would do a little write up of what my project is and all that fun stuff.

I have a 2001 Dodge Neon (SILVER)
And a 2001 Dodge Neon RT parts car. (RED)

My silver car was bought from the local write off auctions.
It needed a new front bumper,radiator,fan and cradle.

I took alot of parts out of the RT for parts

I Now have the sideskirts on rear spoiler front bumper rad cradle,RT wheels and power fold in mirrors.

Im planning on taking out the power windows and doors and switching them to my Silver one to.

I purchased the black housing headlights as well as the type r lip for the front.

It is in the shop right now getting saftied.

ASAP FUTURE PLANS: Roof painted black. as well i am tinting the tailights but just the reverse white part. and a portion of the rear trunk that lines up with the reverse lights is being painted black.

I am also installing and hid kit,eyelids and clear sidemarkers.

I want the car to look clean yet sporty.

Did you save the drivetrain from your R/T parts car?

If it's in running condition, and you have the R/T PCM, you could do a drivetrain swap

hey thanks everyone

and yes i do have the pcm still. the car was running and driving about 3 weeks ago it drivers super nice but it got wacked in the back and was writeoff but yes the car was running and was drivable

You'll get a more powerful motor, which includes the 2 stage IM, the factory shorty tube header (not a cast iron exhaust manifold), and the 3.94 final drive transmission. You will need to swap the underhood wire harness, as well. Heck, I'd take everything off the parts car to basically make your car an R/T, including the rear disc set-up. Start w/nearly everything having to do with the motor/trans/engine harness. End up with the ram's head logo seats, if they're in good shape.
