welcome to 2gn, i had the same rear bumper on my old neon, it must be the bumper cause i had the same problem the only thing i say you need to do is somehow raise the exhaust closer to the openings.

How do you get around not having reverse lights? I know, to make it legal for the road you have to have them.

as to whoever asked about not having reverse lights, i'm not sure, noone ever seemed to mind. but now i have all red custom tails, not tinted, just red,
and for the lip kit, nah, sorry
