Hello all, dropping in to say hello on the introduce yourself page. i am currently the owner of a 2003 Dodge Neon SXT. sadly i have owned the car for a couple of years but am only now getting the means to slowly mod it. i also build and repair computers and laptops. one of the first things i would like to do is put in a cold air intake but am having issues deciding whether or not to buy the premade kit (301$) or build my own from parts i can get which would end around 80-90 or so dollars. any who i am glad to finally be able to be a part of this community been browsing here for awhile yet until five minutes ago every time i tried the confirm pic thingy it told me i was wrong lol.

thank you all. its is very much appreciated with all the responses. i am currently working on painting the new bumper a flat black before it gets installed and will be smoking the new tail lights (as long as they fit and they look like they should). both the new bumper and the tail lights are from a 2000. the bumper i have looked over and to me it looks like all the fittings are the exact same. tail lights are the same thing look exactly (literally put them side by side) like the ones that are currently in the car except without the shattering. meh we will see what happens. i will also probably start posting in the proper section with updates and pics ect ect.

it is indeed a 02 bumper. i also have the tail lights from the same car as well. i was switching them out as well. mine is shattered and barely hanging on cant really see it but you can see the giant dent in the bumper though...
after then inspection i will be removing the taillights and smoking them. the other thing that has been done is the front plate was removed and the holes filled in until i can find a better mounting place instead of right in front of everything.

kinda a dumba$$ question but. dont know much about modding cars... so please bare with me. what the hell is that. of course by the time i see the reply i might already know. most of my knowledge is in replacing brakes/lines, and other such things unless it gets into heavy engine tearing i can usually do it just have never really had to do many things to the front of the car been keeping up with it so.....
