Hey.
My name is Tito and i just bought 2000 Neon 2.0l few months ago.
Dodge Neon so it's imported from U.S.
It's first Dodge Neon i've seen here because they are sold here as Chrysler.
I don't know why they have such bad rep here in Finland.
My friend had gen1 and it was always at repair shop.
Very common opioion here is that they are not that well suitable for nordic climate.
I don't know why though. It's very warm winter car.
Nice to meet ya'll!

Re: Hello to everyone
Are you sure that it is badged as a Dodge? Only exports have repeater turn signals. Did it not have "Chrysler" badging on the front doors at one time?

Re: Hello to everyone
Welcome!
Exports also allegedly had the 2002 R/T style front fascia (without repeaters in the fascia) for all model years, and the car appears to have the US/North America sale 2000/2001 front fascia. It might have been brought there by someone from North America.
It almost looks like the fenders were swapped to comply, as the fascia has the repeater/side markers. Kind of redundant. The VIN would tell for sure if it is a Dodge or a Chrysler. A Dodge would begin with 1B3ES.....
I had no issues getting through snow, etc, as long as I had good winter rated tires. I have gone through snow deep enough to slide up the hood, but it was not wet heavy snow.
The only major issue you might have if they use salt based road treatment, is it will rot out eventually.

Re: Hello to everyone
OD is right- on another computer monitor, I can clearly see the Dodge badge.
