Any tricks in connecting the master/slave UPDATE pliers
Any tricks in connecting the master/slave UPDATE pliers
I tried to connect the master/slave cylinder "quick-connect" connection but I could not. It was dark and I didn't want to break anything so I put if off until today. Was I suppose to connect master/slave cylinders before putting the slave cylinder in the transmission? BTW what a PITA is to install the slave cylinder. The slave cylinder had two small black plastic straps holding the push rod. Do I remove those before or after installation?
Thanks,
Dave
Thanks,
Dave

Install the slave the way it is without breaking the straps. Once you get the quick connect connected and press ont he clutch pedal it will break those clips away. Best I can remember, you pretty much just push them together and they'll click together.

Thank you all but I connect the master and slave cylinders yesterday. I used a pair of pliers and it click right away. Finally, the clutch system works!
Now all I need is the new stage 1 PCM and I'm done.
Flight system for the delay.
