V-6 Neon???

Will a 2.7 v-6 engine from a dodge stratus fit in a neon? I have only heard of this swap but never seen it? Has anyone else or is it not even possible??

the one guy form the garge I help at did a 3.5 harger six wit a turbo for a kid who had an srt if that helps. but i sure it would probable work.

Would it be worth it? To be able to say you did it, maybe.

I bet a 3.5L in a Neon would be pretty wild if you can keep the extra weight from negating the new found torque and horsepower.

It can be done. I asked this same question about 2 months back (shame on you for not searching) and I asked if the 2.7 or 3.0 from the stratus would work. The stratus engine is mounted differently as I remember and the exhaust manifold is on the front of the engine bay. You'd have to fabricate motor mounts for it because it would not bolt up.
