ok guys I have been having these crazy ideas about a swap/build
Here are a quick list of parts some that I already have and some that I think would work(and please feel free to help me with ideas of things that would work better) now i am almost sure i will forget a lot so don't hate because i most likely just forgot to write it

-original 2.0 ngc block
-original 2.0 ngc crank
-original engine harness
-2.0 dohc je pistons 8.8:1 compression
-2.0 dohc eagle rods/ wrist pins / blah blah blah
- oil pump (what would work best)
-2.0 dohc 1gn head
- srt coolant neck
- arp 2.0 head studs
- 1gn timing belt (what year/ engine tensioner)
- srt 4 cam positioning sensor
- crane valve springs and retainers (dohc)
- indy valves dohc
-crane # 14 cams
- stock srt-4 turbo/turbofold
- stock srt 02 housing
- stock srt intake manifold w/ map sensor and throttle body (throttle cable?)
- 04-05 injectors with rail
- stock srt turbo oil and coolant lines / some modified ( i will need help on where to route them)
- stock intercooler
- custom ic piping (what size should be used)
- block off pate for bov
- bov and pipe with flange
- high pressure hosing for vacume lines( also if anyone has a diagram on routing this that would be great)
- under drive pulley (dohc or sohc)
- 3" dp
- 3" exhaust
- after market srt-4 intake
- srt 4 coolant hoses
- boost gauge
- wide band gauge
- oil pressure gauge
- some sort of clutch
- ms2
and of corse all gaskets and stuff
and i know i will think of more but i am going to eat and take a poo

I'd look into getting a box intake made from a 1gn neon upper, since the SRT wont bolt up to a 1gn head. If you are able to find an 02 PT head, I think it has the SRT intake manifold bolt pattern. Also, you're going to want to look into Brian Crower cams instead of crane, since...they went under. Megasquirt is gonna be a saving grace for you, since esteinmaier did it. I'm sure he'll be in here eventually.

damn there go's my srt intake manifold plan out the window hahaha and i already picked up 1gn head, also if you look at the end of the list i have mega squirt on there(ms2) and im going to try and pick up a set of crane cams if modern still has them in stock but if not then i was looking into the bc's

well so far it looks like i need a intake manifold so i will let you know as i come up with parts to see if you have them

You're going to have to order your crane cams now, not sure if they still have any in stock. If you need any help with this mang, I'll be down to help you!!

Guys have put the first gen DOHC cams into the srt head for a little better performance. Could you put stock srt cams in the first gen head? If you are low on funds you could always use the stock DOHC cams as well, but i would jump on those crane cams before they're gone!

well i am going to concentrate on the block more... so i will probably just go with the valves and springs and then worry about the cams/gears later

and jerry i would love some help when i get close to being done... and if you want i will have tons of sohc parts left over including two heads and a block and all of the other cool stuff that could be used towards payment
