I found found on ebay a set of El-Glo Gauges for the 00-05 neon w/out the tach and I have been the only one to bid on them and I'm wanting to find out if anyone has used any like these, how they look, and should I get them. Some has said they didn't like it.

Shoud I get them yes or no.

Are those the indiglo gauges? I mean the white plates with blue lighting? Somehow I got these stock. The blue lighting is not quite as bright as the reverse glow gauges but still it rocks.

Not sure, I got mine from JeremyJ who got them from Speedhut. Have you tried Speedhut?

I've looked at Speedhut gauges but my car doesn't have a tach so these are like the only ones that I've seen other than the ones with the whole panel and I don't like those. If anyone has any other options please tell me.

Gotcha. My neon didn't have a tach stock either. Always baffled me that a MTX wouldn't have a tach..but oh well. Anyway, I just bought a different cluster with a tach. The only downfall is that unless you find a cluster with the exact mileage as your stock one, it'll change your odometer. Like mine is exactly 20k miles off of what is actually on the car.

I had glow guagues once...but I didnt care for them. Also, the install was a pain and my cluster never worked right again. I think the shop that did it (I didnt do stuff to my car myself back in the day) screwed it up and it was too late to try to get it fixed by them

Honestly, I'd save the money and start hunting for a cluster with a tach. From your other threads, you sound like you want to add a tach. If you put this overlay in, you might be kicking yourself after because you wouldn't be able to use it if you switch to a tach cluster. Sure, you could go with a pedestal-mount tach, but between buying the tach and the adapter to wire it to a DIS ignition, I think you should hunt around.

Same kinda money. Check if the 03+ clusters will fit an 01. If they do, then there are clusters everywhere on eBay.

Also, a final note, if you've already bid on them, then it's not really your choice whether you get them or not. You win, you're stuck.

I like those but I need one with about 79,000 miles on it.
