The little grey bulb sockets SUCK. End of story. As soon as I took mine out, some of them didn't want to seat in there correctly again. Personally, my solution was to take a handful of black ones I had laying around from various 80's Dodge cars and they worked much better. Naturally, not everybody has that option. But don't worry about the bulbs because it's more than likely the sockets.

Curious, where did you buy the bulbs?

 mine does that too. the bottom area of my spedo and gas guage don't light up at all and now my blinkers work but my high beam works sporradically. I wouldn't worry about it too much, just tear everything apart again and move the bulbs around a little bit and they should light back up.

Jonny- they fit just fine? Hmm.. junkyard time I think.

I had at least 4 clusters out of various year Daytonas. I just grabbed them and they seemed to have more of a positive fit in the Neon cluster. I've only tried that with mine though. Hopefully it works on all of them.

Got mine from EBAY. I took them out and put stocks back in. I was tired of taking cluster out and moving them around to work. I will prob just upgrade to better lights later on.
