i can't get into the bulb!
i removed the center console and looked underneath and i assumed the bulb should be where the small black plug is on the driver's side? because i don't see anything else similar, tried to pull it off but won't budge. do i have to remove the shifter bezel as well?

The gear bulb? Oh okay, the one that lights up the gear you're in in an auto? Sorry I don't know the answer, but free bump.

It is just a bulb and a plug. Very easy. just look and try.

I just replaced mine yesterday and I couldn't get it out with my hand, but used a pair of pliers to pull it out.
