...Wash your window, and then wash your dash with mild soap and water. It shouldn't shine to the piont where it distracts you (unless you use armoral and make it shine). Just my .02Take the top of your dash out. Removing the top of the dash will allow you to easily clean all parts of it. Hopefully there isn't Armour-All on it. If there is, remove it. I have found the Mr. Clean Magic pads excellent for removing Armour-All. Wash it thoroughly with soap/water solution. It was a brand new windshield as of last year so it isn't that bad. Won't the vinegar stink up the car though? Put a vinegar/water solution in a spray bottle or do like what I do and purchase the Windex Vinegar product, get yourself a couple of microfibre cloths and clean the inside of your front windshield.
Why vinegar? Because it will cut through the grime and leave your windshield streak free better than any other product... in my opinion anyways. You may need to go over the inside of the windshield a couple of times to get it right.
Done right and given a windshield in reasonable shape... you'll think there is NO windshield when driving.
