You sure you didn't do it wrong? They seem to work just fantastic on Chris's (lambostealth's) car.

the secret is to shave the backs of the needles with a razorblade. Don't cut yourself. I'd never get overlays myself, but I've helped other people do them

I would guess if the needles don't move then they were pressed on too far. Try pulling them off alittle would be my suggestion.

im scared to pull them off cause i dont want them to break. i dont even know ow to get them off. and i think its the black base of the needle thats sticking... not the actual needle itself i dunno it sucks i wanted them to work so bad.

alright so what do i use to hold the overlays down? i think i got them so there good clearance wise they just need to be stuck to the gauge cluster now. is there anyway to do this without permanant incase it doesnt work?

just lift your needles up slightly. take a butter knife, position them under the base of the needle, and pop them up ever so slightly.

the overlays just stick there. they should set in nicely when you put the plastic shield back on

OKKK. I have them. And they work fine. My gas gauge sticks just for a second or so when I furst start up but works fine right after that. I glued my overlays to my cluster so it would be as close as possible to the cluster. Then I had to lift the needles up a little. When I was calibrating them I just didn't push them down all that far and kept trying it till I found the best spot. If you still have troubles post and I will try to help you further.

i got it they work!!!!!!!! second problem i got everything back in and got my idiot engine light.... codes P0462 and P1681...now after i went to auto zone and got the test i was on my way home and the light went off... is that because he did the test or might it have just been a little glitch in the system?

for future referance, yes they come up. if you're stupid about it and force them it'll break SOMETHING.... but that's if you're not careful.

If you pulled the needles off - no problem for mph and u/min: ignition on - needles are on "zero".
