Dome light

I just installed one of the blue led dome lights from byvampdesign and its in works fine but when the dome light is not supposed to be on the led will still light up a little is this normal?

How long did it take you to get your order from him? I'm going on my 4th week now with no tracking number.

Hmmm, that's strange. I got my dash kit on the second group buy with SRT forums within a week. Have you contacted them?

im thinking im going to wire 8 more superbright leds into there to make it brighter. its 12 volts going through there right?

yup, unless there's a resistor inline with the vamp one creating a voltage drop
Hmm came to my dad's house today (billing address) Oh well.

That's the only reason why I don't want to get one. I dont' like the idea of the damn thing staying on all the time.

its not fully on all the time, just a little glow out of a couple leds.. at least on the one i made.
doesnt interfere with anything

huh....mine doesn't glow at all but i have 18 5-chip LEDs so that may make a difference
Talk about bright!!!!!!!!

i seem to recall that the slight glow was only a problem on some years... but i may be wrong on that..

Did your LED fit in without modification? I think I'm dunna have to run some leads form the sockets to both ends of the tube.
