just put in a cluster with a tach from a 2nd gen and you're set. mileage will be off obviously.

i dont have to rewire anything? i didnt know if there was a wire running from the engine to where the cluster plugs in for the rpms?

Everything is pre-wired from the factory to work, all you need to do is install your tach cluster and everything will function. You can use either an ES/SXT 120 MPH cluster, an R/T 140 MPH unit, or an SRT 160 MPH unit. As said before, your mileage will change with the new cluster, so take that into consideration when deciding.
Also note that if you go with a cluster from 2003 and up, the brake warning light will not work correctly in your car and will stay lit, so you'll have to remove the bulb unless you feel like messing with the wiring on the back.

ooo srt 160mph too bad my car wont come close to that. the od reading for the mileage doesnt bother, not the brake light ill just take the bulb out, how much is a srt cluster worth? and where can i get one bc the junk yards around nny dont have any!

a srt cluster will run you anywhere between $70 and $110.

srt-4 cluster goes to 175ish mph! Mine does anyways, (although mines also in KM/h)
F/s section, and eBay are your best bet!
