Post by Bluerocketsneeks » Sat Sep 13, 2008 1:15 pm

okay so i removed it because i am getting the dash part of it painted... but im sending it off to get painted... so is there a way to remove the plastic part from the unit.. cause the airbag is pretty heavy and will cost me extra shipping for no reason

the peice is loose but is kind clamped in by the metal brackets

so i wanted to ask before i start to mess with it

Yes you can. There are bolts on the back that you have to take out. Then you slide it off. I did it. Pretty easy.
