Some i'm looking to paint the radio bezel i believe its called, i just want to make sure i got it all right before i attempt it and screw it up.
1) Wet send with 600 grit sandpaper down to the primer.
2) tape off the area i don't want painted.
3) spray the bezel with the color wanted (ps2 silver)
- is there any particular paint i should use?
4) let it dry and then apply 2 coats of clear coat
- can i use the same clear coat i used on my tails?

To make life easier on yourself, I would suggest that you remove the HVAC decal rather than mask it off. It comes off pretty easy if you are careful and it can be re-applied when you are done.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

if you are nervous about doing this yourself you can always just get an SRT bezel. It looks great

if by 10x you mean 10 bucks then yes, lol. I think you can get them for 50 bucks or less, and you're going to spend almost that in paint and materials it looks like.
