It should. IIRC the boost pod uses a standard 2 1/16" gauge.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

well i have an electronic autometer oil pressure gauge and although the size is correct since its electric there were to many prongs on the back and the part where the boost gauge screws to on the inside had to be trimmed.

my gauge will still stay in but if i pull on it it will come right out.

That is what i was thinking . the boost gauge has two bolts sticking out of the back that hold it in place.......

i'm not sure how this looks ???

Also, short-sweep electric is good? I have no clue when it comes to these, but i don't want any oil in my dash for sure.....

well mine has the 2 bolts also but because i had to gut some of the gauge pod on the inside i can't screw it in. But it doesn't fall out.

as for short sweep.. i don't know either. I just bought whatever my friend told me to get. And that was like 5 months ago.

Depth is something to consider too. My buddy bought an Autometer mechanical boost gauge to replace the stocker and it's a good half inch deeper, and it sticks out a bit from the pod. Good luck finding the specs for the depth, though. You're better off going to a place like Summit Racing and measuring for yourself if that's an option where you live.

No Summit racing in Fla. I think full sweep gauges are considered better, but it's not like we're going to Mars in our Neons. as for mounting depth I ddin't see anything on the site, but they do have an option to ask.
