they just fit over your stock bolts, nothing more that i know of is needed, you could maybe get new bolts but that is just about it

Not true. Custom work may be needed. Or sliders made for our cars can be bought.

Depends on what kind of seat you get.

40 lbs a piece?!
Those should be called heavy luxury seats with holes for a four point harness.
why not get something with a fixed back that weighs less than half what those seats cost:

You can recline in the first ones, so that makes sex that much easier. The SAMURAI SYNTHETIC LEATHER seats look better, and they're half the price of the Momos.

Seats are really something you shouldn't cheap out on man. In the event of a crash they have to withstand a LOT of g forces. Those seats will not stand up to that and your ass is grass.
My buddy has one of those seats installed into his 2st gen and we had to make all new brackets. And to be honest the quality of those seats are pretty crappy.

it rly depends on what seats you get. mine came with sliders that wouldn't work. so i ended up welding together some custom mounts on the stock sliders.

well I guess it biols down to "you get what you pay for", rather buy quality stuff personally, with a good set of SFI 16.1 belts

Don't fall for the "universal fit" seats!!! I bought some really awesome seats that were supposed to be universal, but the neon is different! The brackets are bent instead of flat like the universals, so now I'm stuck trying to find someone to make them fit, it effing sucks!

I have some Tenzo R in my ride and they came with sliders for my car. I had to do some cutting to the base plate that bolts to the car, but it was pretty easy.

No all racing seats are different. Those bomz seats are just ebay crap and wont hold up in a crash. Racing seats are safe only if you use them with a roll bar or cage. They hold your head upright so if you flip a car without a roll cage your head will be crushed because the seat will not suport the car.

REAL racing seats are NOT reclinable...it's a poser seat and thats where it ends.
If you want a real racing seat that means your getting a fixed back seat thats FIA certified and getting a seat that fits you...I personally had a RaceTech RT-1000 seat and it was really comfortable even on long drives, really light and fire retardent fabric.
If you still want a good driving seat but aren't going to be doing any actual racing, then Corbeaus FX-1 isn't a bad seat for the money and its failry comfortable (but not FIA).
I think your pretty screwed if you flip your car, regardless!! but a racing seat is safe even w/o a roll cage, only problem is that it takes out the effectiveness of an airbag
