i have allways wanted to do this but dont know if it will fit i have wanted to take the stock auto shifter from a pt cruiser since it kinda looks like the srt shifter and put it on my atx neon with the srt shifter boot will the shifter fit on a dodge neon any help would be helpfull and greatly appreciated thanx

check the travel on both and then you will know your answer

It'll fit.
I read a while back about someone who did it. It looks much better than the neon ATX shifter.

yeah it has a srt shifter look thats why i want it and i want to put the srt shifter boot on it to kinda make it look like a manual thanx for your help i had guessed i would but wanted to make sure before i went out and bought one you know thanx again do you by any chance know were i can find the pix on the one you said you saw i would like to see what it looks like

the picture was on here somewhere, and people were wondering why the pt atx boot (pictured on the neon) had a screw on the backside (the screw head was facing towards the rear of the car instead of the front of the car on the neon atx shifter).

ya thats pretty close and dirty too hahaha lol thanx man i was also wondering i had seen that you can buy shifter kits for the pt if i buy that will it just adapt to my shifter or is it specifically for the pt
