Auto Lumination Dome Light
So I went ahead and threw this in the car and for some reason when the dome light is turned "off", it stays slightly lit. Not at all enough to light anything up on the inside, but they're lit up. Anyone have this dome light bulb? I just don't want to go outside to my car in the morning and find it dead because of the dome light drawing too much power from the battery.

Yes I did the same I installed a blue LED an it does the same as well..I'm not an electrical whiz but I did find out why....
its normal, the LED is more sensitive than a light bulb and it will release minor heat...therefore the LED being a better light causes the LED to stay on slightly as this minor power discharge is constantly running........The light bulb actually would stay on as well but its weaker than the LED....But believe it or not iit still is releaseing heat....(electrical discharge, you just dont see it lit up)
dont worry your battery will not go flat...I've had mine in for a year and its ok....

Well, went to start my car not too long ago after the new dome light bulb had been in for about 12 hours and my car was struggling to start.. had to gas it while I was turning the ignition on to get it to start. I have never had my car do that to me, so I'm going to assume it's the bulb. Or maybe I just need a new battery. Either way, I put in the stock bulb for now.
