new dash meter thingies

Post by pyistazty » Tue Jul 21, 2009 4:31 pm

the word isn't coming to me, but its the part of the dash where your speedometer, fuel, and eng temps go, well i was at a pick apart yard yesterday and came across a daewoo car, i think it began with an L...anyways, does anyone know if those can be interchangable? i'm only wondering because it would be an easy way to get a tach and nicer looking dash in.

oh i also found a spoiler to throw on...but me and my friend are dumb asses, we walked up to the gate, and were like, "shit, we forgot tools" so i'm gonna go back and get me that spoiler, i tihnk its off an SXT, or R/T if they had spoiler, he took the decals off, and it also had a nice rear bumper kit that i might get too, too bad the front was FUCKed up

The cheapest/easiest way to get a tach, is to buy another neon cluster with one. The down side is the mileage won't match anymore. (Unless you luck out and find one close.) The mileage can be reflashed to you cars mileage only if it is higher than what is on the replacement cluster. But that would prolly remove "cheap" from the equation.

Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.
