Problem with power window

Post by pyistazty » Sun Sep 06, 2009 3:37 pm

This is the place to post this right?
If not i apologize and if you could be so kind as to move it. :D

Well, my passenger side window works, the switch on the passenger switch will move it up and down. However, the switch for the passenger window on the driver's side will not work. Has anyone had a similar problem or have any ideas? I took the switch out of the door and looked at it from underneath, and nothing looked wrong, though thats obviously not the case...

Thanks!

Probably either the switch on the drivers door or wiring in between there and the window motor.

Sometimes the little parts in the switch loose contact.

Like Carsten said the small metal pieces that actually give power to the switch (inside) may have fallen out.
