Question about LEDs from superbrightleds.com

I just purchased an interior dome LED from them. I installed it (part #4410x9 festoon) and it stays on after the dome light is supposed to turn off.
It's not as bright... very dim, but you can still see that there are the 9 LEDs sort of lit. Is this normal? Will it be enough of a draw to drain my battery after a while?

Normal

Mate that is actually totally normal...it wont drain the battery, well it shouldn't...its latent heat....I found this out through an electrician....power is always escaping even if the car is not on...its very minor....the LED being so sensitive is capturing this latent heat...as its being dissipated...
I was told that it should not drain anything as its normal....

Because LEDs don't require as much power to run the small amount of current going through the car when it's off is just enough for it to be dimly lit. It will not cause any issues as the power is there anyways, but with a normal incandescent dome light it's not enough to stay lit.

leds draw nothin in terms of power, you could have a ton of leds undercar kit etc.. runnin for days and i doubt it would kill your battery

Not much power you say? Check out these 100W beasts.

Yeah Chad, that's the exact one he's got in his dome light.

I'm kidding. I'm actually using similar LED arrays for a lighting project at work. That's just a CPU heatsink attached.
