To strip or not to strip? That is the poll.

So, my interior has been partially stripped for a while now and the longer I have it like that, the less I mind it being all stripped out. At least it's a nice easy forest green on the eyes  If I were to completely strip it, I would leave the dash, both front seats, center console, and both front door skins.... so basically take off the rear door skins and I'm at that point already. Also, if I strip it, I'd like to get a welded in roll cage at SOME point and a pop-up sunroof put in because it's nothing but sheet metal above me just begging to have a hole cut in it. If I put the whole interior back in, I'll probably wrap the pillars and headliner and just have the 4-point belt bar going from b pillar to b pillar.

Any opinions? Also, how do you guys (fuzzy, canada, few others) get your cars inspected with it stripped out? Does it pass right through or do they make a big deal about not having the visor stickers?

Thanks again 2gn for helping me make up my mind.

i drove around for a few days without some interior stuff in and it just seemed cheap, it felt odd to me and was loud as hell in the rain

its nice for me to have all of my interior intact and i feel less like a ricer

1) You are not female.

2) You are not hot looking.

3) Please leave your clothes on.

Oh, wait that kind of stripping...

Yeah, your feet will freeze with no insulation under them. It is amazing what that little bit of worthless carpeting/sound deadner does for keeping you feet warm in the winter.

I think he found direction since August of last year
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

 I opened this up hoping to find some new guy getting into autocrossing, surprised to see it was an old thread of mine.

Yea guys, it's fully stripped now, nothing but dash and one racing seat left. Daily drive it every day. And still love it.

I had to take advantage of a rigor mortis bump!

And you do keep your clothes on, even when you are no longer concious of your actions.
