Well got mines in today... Said it was shipped by air mail but reeks of sea water..

Suxs cuz I ordered a Blue Leather one, not Black Leather with Blue stitching.. I sent them message to see whats up so I won't play with it until I get word back from them..

As you can see its just the leather covering.. I'll pull off my vacuum formeres cover and see how well it fits over it and then the stock piece and post up some pics..

I got mine today as well. Weird that you ordered yours on the 8th and I did mine a week later and they showed up at the same time. Must have been holding out for a bigger shippment (or that storm that Bill was talking about).

And mine just smells like cow

Since it's just a cover, now would be a good time to pad the base up a bit before putting this bad boy on

The grain on the leather is more textured than the leather on, say, the SRT seats. It is a nice quality leather though.

Isa'kee, I actually wouldn't mind getting the one you got. It would match my black shift boot with blue stitching on it. So if you can't work out something with the seller, you can always resort to selling it to me.

I don't want to totally hi-jack this thread with my woes, so I'll shoot you a PM.

As to the cover, this will take some work. I took my armrest apart last night, and found that the old cover is stapeled to the armrest. Since I want to make this as easy on me as possible, my plan is to leave the OE cover on there, get some thin medium density foam to put around it, and then cover the arm rest with the leather. It looks like they give you more than enough material to do this.

One note to folks with SRT seats...I have noticed that the factory armrest is really close to the seat bolsters when lifting the lid with just the OE cover. This mod I want to do will add some width to the cover, so we'll see how it goes.

So this goes over the OEM armrest? That'd be a problem for people like me who want to replace their current (mine is shredded pretty well) armrest.

The armrest itself is plastic with a vinyl cover over it. You can remove the vinyl cover and install this in it's place. My cover is in good shape, and I wan't some additional padding in there, so I'm going to try my method and see what happens

They're actual staples? I've never taken apart an armrest, I don't know anything about it.

I may still remove the cover if it turns out to be too thick after all is said and done, but I am going to take the "easy" way out first

And yep, real staples. Well, not like paper staples...these are a bit thicker.

Yep, like staple gun type staples. They can't be regular lenth ones though since they don't poke through the plastic base.

And I edited my previous post to explain why I'm leaving the OE cover in place better
