Sounds good. Seems like it shouldn't be that hard then... Do you spray glue it in place AND staple it then? From poking my finger through mine, it feels like there may be something sticky in it, and I sure as hell hope the builders weren't doing something bad to my poor car while building it!

I plan to...
Spray glue the padding to the OE cover, making sure that it extends down the sides but not roll under the lip
Lightly glue the cover to the foam. This will be after I have test fitted the cover may times to make sure placement is correct.
Once the cover is in place, the leather will need to be held well under the lid, so a strong glue (ie Gorilla) will be used.
Just come by the house Juan. I'll be messing with it tonight
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Interesting. I have a couple weeks before I can do anything about mine, so I'll wait to see how yours ends up and holds up on usage like that before I do anything, haha.

You may want to wait longer than that since I drive the car so little. But the leather is quality, so you should be fine

I'm more worried about how everything stays in place than anything, haha.
You should drive it exclusively for the next few weeks once it's all put together.
Oh, and damn you... now I want to go tear my armrest apart and see exactly what you're talking about, but I don't wnat to leave it without a cover on it forever.

It's simple to take it apart. Remove two screws that hold the lid to the hinge, and four screws hold the under side to the lid. Then you can see all. Or wait till tonight to see my pics
If you want to do it yourself, make sure you use a #1 phillips screwdriver. The #2 is too big.

I'm used to big #2's...
I wonder how difficult it'd be to buy some leather at the local fabric store and rewrap mine until I have the cash to buy one of these.

It could be done. Having the cover made like this makes it easier to cover the lid without having to heat and stretch the leather to fit without lumps. Plus, with this cover you keep the OE look.

OE doesn't matter to me, I just don't want gouges in mine anymore, lol.
What was the total cost with shipping again?

I got more than the armrest cover, so mine was more...$66.00 for this and the Maxima kit.

So roughly what? 30ish for the armrest shipped would you figure? (guesstimation, obviously)

For the quality and the fact that it ships from the UK, I think it's a very good price

I will be doing my install in a couple weeks
I need to buy the correct foam before I do this and I'm not going to rush it.
But here are the pics I talked about earlier...

Bought a black arm rest today. Plan is to have a Mopar M embroidered in dark blue into it before I install it.
Drove my neon until it was killed in a flood.
