Black interior?

Post by mrsixstrings12 » Tue Oct 25, 2011 3:47 pm

Does anyone have an entirely black interior? Like dash, door panels, and everything. I redid my headliner in black and i have my pillars and stuff red right now but i want a solid color and since my headliner is black i was thinking just doing everything black then.

Ya saw that and its just a bunch of banter about the gauge pod. Thats why i asked it myself. And im not lookin for a how-to since i've already done it before haha just lookin for pics and whatnot.

Another question: If i were to spray the entire dash black would there be any more glare in the windshield??

Dont go to Dodge and ask for black interior...

Me: "Hey I was wondering if you can order front door panels with manual windows for a 05 Neon in black."

Dodge Sales Guy: *Looks at me irratated* "Neons never came with black interior"

Me: Ummm.... I have one out here thats just missing the front door panels otherwise it does, I just swapped it"

Dodge Sales Guy: *Acts offended* "ITS NOT BLACK, its called Dark Slate Grey"

Me: "Well excuse the f**k outta me, sure as hell looks black to me"

First of all it isn't just banter.. She took the time to write up an
organized thread sharing her knowledge to help others. What have
you dedicated to this community? ...

There's pictures in the how to.. and like I said there was just a thread
discussing the same exact thing not too long ago.

I realize you already painted yours....

I suggested you search, because when I used the search function I
found exactly what you were looking for..

Black interior in Crystal's how-to..

Black interior in the said gauge pod thread..

You asked for black interior shots, I was guiding you there.

Excuse me for mistaking which thread you were saying was "banter",
I admit my mistakes but in my defense maybe you should have
been more descriptive.

Keep in mind that if you pull interior parts out of a 2000, the color is lighter than the 2001-2005 (Agate in 2000, Dark Slate Gray in 2001-2005)
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

:withstupid: Dante is 100% correct. The agate is definately too gray to be called anywhere near black. I have agate in my 2000 ES.

Maybe its a 2001 then. Ill have to verify. I've got the tan interior in my 02 and not only do I hate the color but also its seen much better days. This neon is spotless and pretty dark. Either way thanks for the heads up, now I know. (Insert gi joe refrences here)
