Dual trunk release buttons relay wiring correct?

Post by JET_Fusion » Mon Sep 17, 2012 10:57 pm

I have a 2005 SXT, I want to wire up two trunk release buttons. As others here have done, I picked up a trunk release button and kick panel from my local junkyard. I believe I've figured out the how to wire both. Here's my picture.

imho it´s just a momentary switch so you should be fine to wire up the 2nd and any one else you like at the same contacts the 1st is.
a neon - what else ?

You're right, now that you mention it. I was making too complex. I should be able to connect like wire to like wire. Originally I was thinking it's a hot line (12v) hence the relay. Now I'm thinking it's a ground. When I get a chance to install it, I'll checkt the line first to be sure.

Thank you for the help!

what the heck??
just install it parallel to the original switch.
10 minutes work (naaa - plus hiding the wires...)
