Post by jonnymopar » Thu Jan 23, 2014 9:13 pm

Thoughts? I wonder how much of the fuel and temperature gauges it will cover.

That's the first thing I thought of. Every time I saw one of those in a 1st gen, I wished they had something like it for the 2nd gens.

grabbed a gauge and took a couple shots given this isnt going to be exactly the same but its close and gives you a good idea

gas is OK you can still read it

but i hope your installing an aftermarket temp gauge here so you can still read temp!

maybe with like a 1" gauge you could see the top half and know when your overheating but the aftermarket one would be useless

Looking at it afterwards, the pods don't look deep enough to handle LED-backlit gauges. I already ran into that problem with the stock SRT-4 pod.

Oh well.

IF YOU CUT DOWN INTO THE SURROUND MORE AND SUNK THEM IN LOWER IT MIGHT WORK. ESP IF YOU USED AN AFTERMARKET TEMP GAUGE
