Really bright LEDs will really annoy you at night. There is one led in each switch. They even don't look like there would fit more than one in them...
All other question been answered 1000 times before, sorry.
Find my how-to for blue switches.
Hvac and cluster - use rubber led stripes. Dozens of LEDs, easy to install.

the links are probably gone in there but the upgrade is easy to do in a lot of the things you said you wanted. the cluster is easy get a handful of size 194 bulbs. you can get the wedge base style or i use the SMD LED bulb as it lights more evenly behind the cluster. you can use that bulb in the mirror as well also you can use it in the license plate light, side marker lights, shifter light if you have an auto

All of these are really easy to do no adapters just plug and play for your 03. you just take out the glass bulb and put in the led one.

The HVAC leds are harder to do as they are smaller and have a different way of connecting. those use the #74 size bulb i believe and require modification of the existing bases. LMK if you want more info on how to do that i can try to get some info and pictures.

also check out my plog i have some pictures in there of white leds that will come through blue in the cluster. personally i like it better than using actual blue leds as those are harder to see as they are a darker color.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-White-Ford-S ... 4d&vxp=mtr

Those are similar to what i used. i got a 10 pack to get the whole cluster done and a few other spots. with the ebay sellers some may not work but thats the other reason to order 10 lol.

On another note these can be used in the trunk light as well.

Those can be used in the HVAC and cubby hole light if you have one. they were more intensive to wire in as the size was bigger with the led than the actual bulb

Something like this may fit better but wiring one in is still more work than it is for the cluster bulbs. also i prefer the SMD LED as their light is more evenly distributed.

7 for the cluster and HVAC takes three... the side marker lights are also 194 as well as the license plate light...

just remember the hvac is the different size

so you should need 11 #194 bulbs and 3 #74
