Just need to make sure the parts manager that I share my part-time employee with is OK with the dates I picked out. If he is, I'll be there
I'll be leaving here mid-day Thursday. My plan is to make this a mini vacation ending with the meet. I have Monday off as well so I won't be rushing back. Just need to figure out what to do leading up to Sunday

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...
You have Old Sturbridge Village also ...

Garden Thyme
October 20
Garden Thyme programs are held on the third Saturday of each month and are FREE for members of Old Sturbridge Village.
Led by Village horticultural and agricultural staff, these programs and workshops are held at various sites and deal with a variety of plant-related themes and topics.
Participants gather at the Visitor Center at 10 a.m. each month and are led to the appropriate site or setting.
October 20, 2012
"The Art of Grafting"
Learn how to graft your own fruit trees. The selection of root stock and fruit varieties will be discussed and simple grafting techniques will be demonstrated.
November 17, 2012
"Holiday Wreath Making and Decorations"
Learn how to craft your own evergreen wreaths, swags and garlands just in time for the holidays. Decorating ‘Della Robbia' style will also be discussed.
Harvest Days
October 20 - October 21
Come help us celebrate the harvest and the beautiful New England autumn.
Help with the harvest, talk with costumed interpreters about the harvest, and learn about methods of food preservation.
The Cider Mill will be operating this weekend (and most weekends in October), with apples ground by ox-power on Saturday and the pulp pressed for its juice on Sunday. You can even get in on the act with a hand-powered "cider mill".
Join our costumed interpreters as they:
•Harvest corn, root vegetables, and potates.
•Taste heirloom apples and tour our orchards
•Put the Herb Garden "to bed" for the season
•Conduct garden and root cellar tours and discuss food prepartion
•Thresh and winnow grain
•Shell corn and beans
•Churn butter

But don't street race..!!??If the parts car is cleaner rust wise than your car, swap the inner dash panels (VIN) and use the parts car with your title.

Not sure if you are new to MA but here is some of the crap I do in this great state lol:Danteneon wrote:
I was thinking of hitting up Salem on Saturday.
-At the Quabbin itself you can rent a boat cheaply and go out fishing or whatever for the day.
-Plenty of parks in the new England area (6 Flags, Water Country). -Taking a ride up / hiking Mt. Wachusett is cool
-Girlfriend loves when I take her to the yankee candle village in South Deerfield.
-Prime apple picking season at many of the orchards like the ones in the Brookfields.
I'll add more if I think of them.
The words Motel and Ware sound worse than dumpster and Kmartmjrpaine wrote:There used to be a motel in Ware .. if its still there ... that might help if anyone needs to stay over ...
Didn't they discontinue that due to how unhealthy it was? hahar34neon01 wrote:LMAO no no, Jason I think he means his Subaru Outback lol. Although it would be kinda cool to stay at an Outback restaurant just thinkin about the bloomin onion lol.
