2gn Fall Meet 2012
2gn Fall Meet 2012
It's that time again, everyone. The leaves are falling, the days are shorter, and the air is full of the ghostly sounds of engines roaring through the Quabbin.
Location: Quabbin Reservoir, Belchertown, MA
Date: October 21st (sunday)
Time: 11am to whenever
People Coming:
- JeffM
- r34neon01
- slowpeon
- Caraudioholic24
- lilsparkplug
- asanti
- mjrpaine
- Roadkill
- chew*
- NyNeon0813
- Danteneon
- protivakid
What are people bringing:
- Hotdogs, buns (JeffM)
- Grill, soda, cups (r34neon01)
- Chips (chew* and/or mjrpaine)
Directions to the meeting spot can be found here
(directions are to the actual meeting spot, not the visitor center.)
Plans are similar to what we've had before: meet & greet, picnic, pictures, etc. Plan on bringing something to contribute to the food (soda, chips, small baby limbs). We'll be doing hotdogs on the grill again as they're easier and cheaper.
As always: don't be stupid. No reving, burnouts, street racing, etc. The State Police barracks is right there so think twice before doing something stupid.
Also, for anyone that wants to bring friends, we will gladly accept them. Neon or no Neon.

Yeah, I've been a little busy lately so I haven't had time to put up the info till now. This meet is only 5 days further out from the last meet. At the 2009 meet I drove through snow both ways.mjrpaine wrote:Well this didnt take long ... lol
Hey Mike ... if you ask ... Jeff will make it so ...
on another note ... thats getting close to SNOW season ... lol.
If you can bring your grill, that'd be awesome. I can bring cooking utensils and stuff. It'll be good to see you again, Jake!r34neon01 wrote:Well if I didn't make this meet it would just be ridiculous lol. So I will definetly be there. Jeff let me know if you need anything for the meet.

Long as the weather holds I'll make plans to be there. I'll talk to some of my HHR SS friends to see if they want to make the trip up.

If there is no snow, salt or sand on the roads I will make an attempt.
*Edit* On second thought, if there is snow, salt or sand I will just bring the bondobox instead.

But don't street race..!!??If the parts car is cleaner rust wise than your car, swap the inner dash panels (VIN) and use the parts car with your title.
