I think I'm down for it as long as it isnt no 4 hrs away and in a different state! lol. I'll do some traveling now if the turn out is going to be this big.

Okay so after a long night on Google Earth, finding parks and then googling all the information about them, I think I've found the perfect one for a meet. It's a little more North than I anticipated, about an hour north of trenton, (sorry Kelevra) but it's a great park. Heres the info on it:

Round Valley State Park / Reservoir
Lebanon, NJ

The brisk blue waters of Round Valley Reservoir attract swimmers, boaters, fishermen, picnickers and campers to its scenic shore. The Round Valley Reservoir swimming area was created by the construction of an earth dam across a narrow waterway on the west side of the reservoir, separating it from the main part of the reservoir. The reservoir covers over 2,000 acres and is approximately 180 feet deep, the deepest lake in New Jersey. It has a water capacity of 55 billion gallons. The reservoir is stocked with lake trout.

Things to do:
Fishing (Trout grow up to 20 pounds!!)
Grilling and Picnicking
Full beach!
Swimming
SCUBA DIVING! (Must be certified)
Hiking trails
Camping, if anyone wants to make their stay longer with the family, etc (12$ a night)

The entrance fee is 5 dollars, but that's it. There are 6 pretty big parking lots so lining up our cars shouldn't be problem if were there in the morning and what not. What do you guys think?

Add me in, the only dates that are no good for me are the weekend of aug 9th + 10th. Just mapped it out, it's a 2.5 hr drive for me which is exactly how long it takes me to get from my house to Etown, we're good

Around 250 miles and near 5 hours for me. I'll be staying the night before.

Just have to find out when you guys are doing this so I can book a hotel for that night. Saturdays or Sundays doesn't really matter to me since I can get the day off from work.

DouglasSXT I thought about a paypal account but I figured it'd be easier if everyone just bought some chips, sodas, burgers etc from their own local supermarket and brought them there. What do you think?

Lilsparkplug if you want you can camp there so you don't drop 60+ bills on a hotel room..

not in their neons, in tents silly! the park also offers fixed lot camping as well as wilderness camping.

Oh and also... a note of everyone..
When the date is decided (this will be soon) ... GET OFF WORK!
That's why I'm planning this so ahead so you can get the day off.
And if you can't get a day off 2 months in advance... that sucks.

Tomorrow I will be PMing everyone on the list again asking what weekend is best for them.

I'll probably just get a room. I'd be too freaked out camping all alone in the woods by myself.

As far as food/drinks/etc goes. Heres what I think you should do. Once you get a definite date, and a definite count of who is going assign everyone something specific. I'll be coming from far so I'll paypal someone some money who is local to pick up whatever I am assigned to pick up. That way you can be assured that you have enough food. I can't eat what you guys eat ( I have Celiac)so I'll be packing my own lunch, but I will still send 5 or 10 bucks to someone so they can get what I am supposed to.

That is unless I am assigned hamburger or hot dog buns or something along those lines, in which case I won't have to worry about those going bad on the way down.

Yeah I can let you know. I'll just be there to sleep for the most part, and I'll be coming down the night before so I don't have to drive so much in the morning hours before the show.
