Anyone think they can help me spray my rims black? I was going to buy black r/t ones from craigslist, but the wanker never replied back. Now I'm just so tired of having these silver ones.
If anyone would like to give me a hand whenever you're available, I was going to use this write up as a guide, thanks.

Just scuff the wheel up with a scuffpad (the red fuzzy softpad)UriahRR wrote:That looks pretty cool because it matches the color of the tire. If that's a good durable rim paint, I might get the mid-gloss.
It will flake a little bit at first, so just go over the areas again.. after a few shoots your good to go. Its really good to apply in the hot weather, because its engine enamel.. so it will bake onto the rim.
If i get lazy and dont feel like cleaning the rim, i just spray more engine enamel over it.. Still looks good

id use a gray scuff pad.. red can leave scratches that the paint wont fill or cover up.. now if you primer then your ok.. but painting right over the stock wheel cover and having used a red pad you'll see the scuff marks.. i'll grab you some gray pads from work or heck uriah i'll paint them at work.. put clear on them too.. just got my new sata 3000 paint gun last week..
