Well I am personally going to try to put together a central FL meet for the end of the summer, hopefully a beach meet before the weather starts to get cooler.

After this big meet up in GA next month, I will start working on information for this meet, taking in suggestions and ideas. Does anyone know when the Old Town SRT meet is? I don't want to conflict with that..

Idk... I'll be meeting up with 2 dudes I have known only on the forums, one in Mississippi and one in Louisiana, I'm coming from Tampa Bay area so maybe you could let us in on some good places?

I know a few decent spots to meet then. Wayside park on the Pensacola end of what we call the 3 mile bridge here.
Then, there is Big Lagoon State Park. If you want piece and quiet and not a whole lot of traffic, I would choose Big Lagoon.

If we do Wayside Park, might have a chance of the meet being when our club picnic will be going on. Due to the spring picnic being canceled, we are looking at rescheduling it in September at Wayside Park. Most of them bring their classics with them.

ballistik.... Wayside park is a good spot to have a barbecue and meet. Nice covered areas with barbecue grills and tables. And plenty of parking. Let me know what way you are coming into Pensacola and I can get you directions to get there. Either that or we can meet at my place.

okay. A guy just joined 1gn who lives there as well, plus a couple in MS and LA.. + Me.. Thats 5-6 of us so far. Maybe we can make it at least 10..

That would be great to get that many. And I will figure out where all of us can meet here in Pensacola.

Edit: I have an idea where we can all meet. There is a restaurant called Steak N Shake here in Pensacola. Their parking lot is small, but there is nice parking spaces nearby that is supposed to be for the mall, but no one really uses that area. And it is only a short walk to SNS for food.

Sounds good to me. What dates where you thinking? If you decide to come around the 12th of Nov. The navy base here will be holding an airshow that weekend. It would give everyone something to do also. Entrance to the show is free.

There might be another place to meet... It is the local state park here. Called Big Lagoon. November is good for going there since the heat should be cooled off by then. There is an entrance fee to the park. Last time I went there which was May, the fee was 4 bucks to get in. Can do a barbecue/meet there. If we did that, we can meet at my place and then take a nice cruise along the waterfront to get there.

Yes I have FB. There is also a facebook page for my club Pensacola Mopar Association also. We were supposed to have a club picnic in the spring, but due to high heat and humidity that would make it horrible. So we are figuring out days for out fall picnic.
