all dodge meet apr 4 olathe dodge ks/mo

Post by wickedneonrt » Wed Feb 04, 2009 7:53 pm

just wanted to post this info here for all to see.

from link: http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthrea ... 663702Okay, gang...just as promised, here is the information for the Spring Meet & Greet of 2009.

April 4, 2009 from 11AM to 3PM

***Olathe Dodge***
15500 W 117th Street
Olathe, KS 66062

The dealer will be supplying us with lunch & a very high profile location.
They will run an add for our Meet & Greet two weeks before the meet & put out balloons while we are there to attract spectators.
There will be some drawings for door prizes.

I am working on a professional photographer for the event. For those who need it, I called a couple motels in the area for some pricing. Here's what I have at this time...

Econo Lodge @ 7508 W 63rd Street, phone # 913-262-9600. Room rates are $49.99 per nite for a queen bed & $59.99 for 2 double beds. They offer a continental breakfast, blow dryer, coffee maker & are located next door to Steak N Shake, Quik Trip & a car wash.
Extended Stay @ 8015 Lenexa Drive, phone # 913-894-5550. They told me that for a room for two adults for two nites would cost $136 (around $59.99 a nite) with a queen bed. They have laundry facilities on site & a kitchen in each room. They are located just up the street from a 24 hour WalMart

Pm me with any questions and i'll help you out. Hope to see some of ya out there

I'm down. So it's pretty much just hang out and talk?

It's sponsored by the dealer? Any events or anything? Entry fee? Guests allowed?

Sweet. I might be bringing between 2 and 5 guests depending on how many people I can talk into going. Got any plans for parking as far as organizing by model?

i know the person setting it up is eager to mix and match. We've noticed a ton of silver lx's (maggies, 300, chargers) and at shows it looks kinda blah when their are ten silver all within a few feet of each other. I know we are gonna put all the charger daytonas together and intermix from there on out. If your rolling in a group just try to intermix so that like colors arent together when pulling in and i think we'll be golden.
I dont believe anyone is trying to purposely mix makes or anything. Its pretty much park in whatever order people show up to my knowledge but i'll double check.

Finally a meet that is close.
I am down totally.

Sounds like there will be more LX's than anything. ITs all good though!

Edit:
My parents are going to bring their 87 Chrysler Fifth Avenue I believe.

I'm not sure on this one anymore. I can't afford to be driving all over the damn place anymore with no job. I'll try to make it if I have enough money.

No but it isn't working out, it sucks ass. I make good money- $25/hr but hours are here and there. I've only had 4 hours last week. Shit I made more on unemployment sitting on my ass playing video games.

Ahhh yeah I remember you telling me about how you are on call. You get a pretty good amount of money from unemployment?

$25 and hour is great money. Now only if you could get a 9-4 m-f. That would be killer.

Yeah unemployment paid $200 a week ($400 / 2 weeks) pre-Obama, and $225 a week post-Obama stimulus.

I posted up on the forum saying I will go. I will be there for sure. And as for your comment in bold, I wouldn't mind doing a couple highway pulls with any of those cars to show them what the neon is about.
