Dont think i'm goin to Dayton now. I went to my body guy today to find out how much it would be to repair the rust on the rocker pannel. When we put it on the lift, we found out that the whole rocker pannel was rusted out, and the other side was paper thin. the cost for repairs 2k$ (for the driver side). He said: "If i were you, i'd think twice about putting anymore money in this car" so yeah, thats a huge kick in the nuts. i'm so pissed right now you have no idea. i was gonna lower it in a couple weeks.

As long as you can safely drive it, bring it anyway.

- Agreed!
Mine is driveable, i debating alternative solutions like:
- clean it up
Tape it off (below where people can see)
Spray paint it black or the color of the car as close as i can
Noone can see it atm.
Later, add side skirts.

We're talking short term here, as in "can you safely drive it for this one meet?"

Beyond this meet isn't a biggie right now, just come and have fun. Besides, I've seen lots of

showroom new

cars that are riced to the max and your car has to be better than those.

I have plenty of ideas now. Bottem line, it's all about hangingin out with people who share the same interest. Not who has the least amount of rust!

Well I just spent the last two days working in spurts between downfalls of rain replacing all of my struts and LCA bushings. My back right strut when I removed it from the mount and spring just collapsed on it's own. I'd say it was done. YAY for no more rattling over the railroad tracks. The window weld really helps in the rear struts too
I'm really mad though, as I planned for a while on putting my summer tires on this week (spring break) and now I'm hearing about potential snow flurries... grrrrr

I replaced my existing struts (for free) for the time being, and if I get the coilovers any time soon I'll sell the whole strut assemblies because it's just so much easier that way.
