Just a heads up fellas... Joe and I checked the weather. It's not seeming TOO promising. It just might rain... but we're not 100% sure.

Rain? Psh. Unless there's a tornado over the pizza place there's no excuse. haha

Also is anyone passing through northern IL on the way?

Should I bring a canopy? It'd fit a car or two under it, but also if we had anything to do outside it would be nice.

Sorry if I sounded like I was demanding an extra pizza, by the way. I worded it badly, it was supposed to be a request. haha

Hell last time you were in flint (which is a hell of a lot closer) and you still didn't come see us. I just think you don't like delicious pizza and good company.

Yeah, but I was also doing a head swap 4 hours from home in a parking lot.

Plus the problem of the crappy ECT sensor giving false readings to the cluster. (Which later led to going through 3 new ones to get one that semi worked.)

After the other shit that went down that weekend, it is probably for the better I didn't show up.

I may have added to Flint's reputation, being closer...

I have to scrape up enough cash to snag a DOHC for Casper, plus find the money to replace/rebuild the engine in the '01.

I need to get the 1gn running, so I can drive it until the '01 has a fresher engine. Driving the Jeep is not an option. All my engine money would line OPEC's pockets.

The fuel mileage on the 01 has been steadily dropping, the idle is getting worse week by week. To be honest, I really don't want to drive it but to work and back.

Every morning that I back into the parking space, there is that beautiful smell of burning oil. It is using about a quart every week and a half, or sooner, depending on how much I drive it.

Believe me, I would love to go, but at this point, if it died going to or coming back, for what the tow bill would be, I would just call my Dad to come and get me, strip everything I could, and walk away from it.

Well if any cars die here, on the way here, or on the way home, I do have a big truck and trailer and enough tools to fix just about anything. Its the money I don't have. As nice as it would be to finally meet you I understand the reasoning behind you not making it.

And Gramps, we'll excuse your "dirty" car. Even though last time you thought it was dirty, we thought it was immaculate.
