Well ladies and gents, since the last neato meeto wasn't nearly as much of a flop as the first its time again. With some gentle prodding from DJ it looks like we will be sitting up another meet here. Since I can't make the WI meet I want to give everyone else the chance to recover. Lets make it in September? For me Sundays are better.

I no longer own a 2gn but I am still in a neon and would love to continue hosting you fellas.

The local car wash will be closed being a Sunday, its owned by Mennonites and being their day of rest it will be chained up.

If we are meeting on a Sunday, I have the 9th and 23rd of that month off.

Well the timing belt/water pump change is done on my car. Only thing left that I HAVE to do prior to this is fixing the exhaust leak.

I'll add a list of "coming" to the first post momentarily.

I'm thinking the 23 will give us more leeway to plan this out and ti e everybody more time to possibly get the day off.

Hey, glad you're doing this again! I was just talking to Gramps about your pizza. And about the dinosaurs tromping the area.

I'm hoping I will be able to make it, but finances might be tight this month so it's going to have to be a maybe.

I can bring a dynomax muffler with magnaflow tips. SRT distance, not RT, direct bolt on.

Mike- I've seen your car around town and wondered who drove that, now I know!! And it's my sentra that's down. I let my bro use it and he wrecked it. Smashed up the front bumper, radiator, intercooler, hood, and just minor things. He's replacing all the stuff for me but my intercooler is on back order so it taking a while

I used to drive by your neon every day in osseo when I go to work, wondered where it had went.

Thanks Gramps, so far its pretty clean and pretty well stock. Hopefully by the time the meet rolls around the hood will be painted, and the small rust spot below the driver side door is fixed. The repair shop I use is pretty booked though so it may not happen.

Just so y'all know, trans is $50. 2nd gear would grind if i was shifting above 2500 RPMs. I dont know if its trans or clutch bc i out a new clutch in as well when i swapped in another transmission.

That being said, $50. No cables, no clutch, nothin. Just the 1 sensor still in it.

And it grinding is no big deal. I'm probably gonna rebuild it before even putting it in my current (ATX) car anyhow haha..

Just gotta get cables, pedals, shifter and whatever the hell else I need lol.

The trans is the biggest thing.

Yeah Chip is selling you a rebuilt transmission and it'd cost just as much to have him rebuild that one anyway.
