Southwestern Wisconsin junyards?

So me an a few buddies of mine and planning on going on a junkyard run in a week or so. And I'm wondering if you guys know of some good junkyards in the southwestern area of Wisconsin with a good selection of Neons and where you are allowed to pull the parts off yourself.

I wish I knew where they have good junkyards in SW WI. !!
I haven't found them yet.
I know of good junkyards in the SE WI. area, but not SW.

Probably the furthest West I have been in WI. for junkyard scrounging, is Golden Sands Auto Salvage in Boscobel, WI.
I DON'T KNOW if they have any Neons there, however, and I have not been there for many years.

Now, MN. seems to have some really nice junkyards ! How far are you from MN. ?

I'm about an hourish away from the MN border and that is about as far as I'm willing to go. I am willing to go an 1.5 hours away as long as I have good info on a junkyard. Any further than that I may as well just go to Gibson's in Neenah. They have a pretty good selection of Neons but I've never really taken a look at what they have because I usually just grab the part I need and head out.

Do you know of any in the Madison area? That is also an hourish away and in my preferred search radius.

Unfortunately, I do not.

You may want to check out 'Chipdogg's' front yard in the woods of Muscoda.

Just buy parts from his parts cars.

I bet he would have an idea, of where the yards might be.

I don't know of any yards around here. There's a decent place in Dubuque I think but haven't been there yet.

Dubuque is a good 2 hours away from here (Mauston). Its a bit further than I would like to drive but I'll keep it in mind if I'm ever in that area.

Maybe there aren't any junkyards, because folks don't need them up there..... They just keep spare cars & parts cars in their front & back yards.

That is what its starting to look like! There a few junkyards near by but they all pretty much suck. Either that have a grand total of 3 cars, or they won't let you even look at the car and you have to pay them to take the part off for you.
